Brooke Lisa Burke is an American television personality, dancer and occasional model. She is a celebrity known for hosting Wild On!, Rock Star and winner of the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars and the joint organization of Dancing with the Stars from 2010 (season 10). Burke was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 8, 1971 to Donna and George Burke and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is the eldest of nine children from their parents. Burke is a Jew, and also has Irish, French and Portuguese descent.

In 2001, Burke married Garth Fisher, a plastic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and the couple divorced in 2006. They have two daughters, Neriah Shae and Sierra Sky. In 2006, Burke announced that she was engaged to actor and singer David Charvet, and from 2010 have not been married.
